The SELAM family has grown. The Wukrokinder project has been part of the SELAM children's home since August 2021. They work with a similar orientation as SELAM. The children's village SELAM Elshadai Wukro is located in northern Ethiopia, near Mekelle, the capital of the Tigray region. The children's village is located in the crisis area of the current conflict. Fortunately, we can say from the short phone calls that the children and employees are doing well given the circumstances.

Support the project
The civil war in Ethiopia represents an indescribable challenge for many Ethiopians. Basic needs are not secured. Water and food have to be bought under difficult conditions. Donations for the Wukrokinder project are used on the one hand for basic food and water and on the other hand to keep the school running. In these unstable times, your donation means saving lives and supporting children.
