You can support SELAM in a variety of ways, from making a donation, to making a purchase in our shop, through to becoming a member. Below you will find additional ways of helping out – simply choose the right option for you:

SELAM was founded over 35 years ago. But how did it all start and how is this Swiss organisation structured? Find out more about SELAM's history and the team in Switzerland, as well as how your donations are used.

The Swiss team consists of four employees and eight members of the governing board.

In 1986, Zahai Röschli – herself an orphan – opened the first SELAM children's village in Addis Ababa. A lot has happened since then.
